George and Beth (Strange) Gibson

Hello, I’ve been of friend of Beth’s for over 50 years, since high school.

Beth’s husband, George is very ill. You can read her statement below. Neither of them have seen their daughter, Amy and her family in over 10 years. Amy has two children 10 and 12. George and Beth haven’t seen their grandkids since Jaxon was 5 months old. Amy lives in Alaska and travel is just very expensive for all of them.

George needs to see his family while he is alert and still with us.

The photo was taken last Christmas. Since then George has been going downhill rapidly.

i am asking friends and family of the George and Beth to please donate so they can buy airline tickets for them to come home for a week or two.

A note from Beth

George has been living with COPD for about 15 years now. This past week we found out that he is in the end stage of COPD. His lungs are only working at 25% capacity now.

Our daughter,Amy, and her family (children Kiah, age 12 and Jaxon, age 10) live in Alaska and we haven't seen her in 10 years when Jaxon was 5 months old. We really would love to be able for her and the grandkids to come for a visit while her Dad is still alert and with us.

He is on oxygen full time and I take care of him. We have been married 46 years now and I cherish what time I have with him and hope to be able to continue to care for him at home.

Any and all donations to bring our daughter and grandchildren home for a visit would be a blessing. Thank you all so much.
