BROTHER IN LAW WITH LUNG CANCER (George and Robin Price)

My name is Katrina and I am trying to raise funds to help my sister and brother-in-law George (diagnosed with lung cancer) and Robin Price of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

UPDATE: George is going to be undergoing major lung surgery in June to remove the cancer along with some of his lung. Lung function is borderline, but surgery is considered best option. Surgery will require extensive hospital stay and arduous recovery process. Bills are continuing to come in. Car situation is still not resolved. If you cannot donate please share this post as often as you can.

George was just diagnosed with lung cancer. He will be undergoing a PET scan to see if there are any metastasis and lung studies to see if his lung function is good enough to have the tumor removed. Tumor board will meet next week to decide on treatment course.

On top of everything else, their SUV just died and is unrepairable. Robin works full-time, George does not work, so my sister’s income is vital to the family. She will be facing major unpaid time off to care for my brother-in-law, and also take him to appointments. They have no working vehicle currently and no means to replace it, but will need funds to get something reliable enough to get back and forth to George's appointments and Robin's work. Bills are already piling up and there will be many more to come.

Over the years, Robin and George have spent their own money and time to help out the community with stray animal care, spay and neuter programs, and transportation of rescued/adopted animals.

Obviously, they have been dealt a huge unexpected blow personally and financially, and now THEY really need any help that be given. Please keep them in your prayers as well. Thank you in advance!!!!
