George - Cherry Valentine Legacy Fundraiser

George - Cherry Valentine sadly passed away on Sunday, 18th September 2022.

George will be remembered for a life of achievements-

In 2015 George qualified and worked as an NHS Mental Health Nurse. Since then, George has continued to advocate for Mental health services and awareness.

In 2020 George was invited onto Rupaul's Drag Race UK, which aired in 2021. Filming was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and George rose to the occasion and rejoined the NHS as a frontline vaccination nurse.

During George's short time on drag race, George won over the fans with his humbleness and his contagious laughter. George went on to release two singles with his best friend Katie and performed around the UK to thousands of fans with his drag race sisters.

In June 2021, George established Throne Events with friends Adam and Sam. George's mission was to create an ethical LGBTQ+ events company that put fans before profits.

More recently, George released a BBC Documentary whereby he shared his life experiences and met many people to shed light on being LGBTQ+ in the Gyspy, Roma and Traveller communities. George was shortlisted for an NTA for his work.

Following the passing of the beloved George, we are asking for donations to be made so that we can hold a Vigil for George - Cherry Valentine and continue their legacy.
