George Ebejer "Backhoe George" cancer fund
Donation protected
58 year old George Ebejer, aka "Backhoe George" has been a Siskiyou County resident since he was 16 years old. He and his wife Markay just celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary with their 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren.
In July of this year an ER visit revealed that George had a mass in is left kidney. 2 weeks later, his diseased kidney, ureter and 4 lymph nodes were removed. His diagnosis: Sarcomatoid Renal Cell Carcinoma with Rhabdoid features, an extremely aggressive and fast growing cancer. The doctor was optimistic that he removed all the cancer, but 8 weeks later when the flank pain was not getting better but instead worsening, he went back to the ER. The CT scan showed the cancer had returned in the bed where the kidney was and spread to the adrenal gland and to the lungs. Treatment options are limited as neither chemo nor radiation are options. George will begin Immunotherapy next week. Because this cancer is so aggressive, time is not on our side and we must quickly explore all treatment options. His Oncologist is willing to work closely with a Naturopathic Doctor for IV vitamin C therapy, however, Insurance does not cover this and is $250 per treatment. His supplement and pain management regime are costly. George has been self employed for 40 years but due to pain and fatigue has not been able to work much. We know there is much need in this world right now and George & his family would be so appreciative of contributions in any amount; whether you're able to give financially or not, prayers for the family are welcomed and appreciated ❤️
