George Estrada

As you likely already know, George Estrada passed away on November 7, 2023. His passing has come as a shock to his family, friends, and coworkers.

George had a long and distinguished career within the chemical process industry, working for Pfizer in Kalamazoo and a variety of locations for British Petroleum. George brought with him a wealth of experience and shared his expertise freely and could be relied upon to always help out with a solution or opinion. George could be looked to for sensible advice and a different viewpoint that would challenge people to look at things differently; his coworkers will miss his candid and helpful comments.

George was a great member of the Kalamazoo team and as well as his knowledge he was incredible at sharing his hospitality and loved to bring in food to share with people, whether it was homemade salsa, breakfast tacos, or other traditional Mexican dishes George communicated his caring for others regularly. He will be sorely missed as a team member, as well as for his generous sharing of expertise, knowledge and opinions.

George leaves behind his wife Rosa, his children, and grandchildren along with a large extended family. Our thoughts are with all George’s family at this sad time. We look forward to supporting the needs of George's family through these donations to support his family in a way that reflects the impact George had on those his path crossed.
