George Hagerman Phinney

As you may have heard, sweet Georgie passed away suddenly on Sunday after a lifetime of bringing joy to all those around him. His smile is as unforgettable as his determination and resiliency.

George attended the Perkins School for the Blind and his experience there was life-changing for him and the Phinneys. George found a place where he could flourish, and the Phinneys were comforted knowing he was in the best hands. Most of the money raised here will go directly to Perkins, and the rest will go to other schools or non-profits that helped Georgie out along the way.

If you know them, Jamie and Brian are probably two of the strongest and most selfless people you've met. Their shirts would be off their backs for you before you even knew you needed it. And you also know they would be the last to ask for help. Let's all come together during this devastating time to support them and the school that means so much to their family.

(Note: If you are considering a substantial donation that may have tax implications, you can donate directly to Perkins in George's name.)
