George Ketterman Recovery Fund

On Sunday October 30th our dad was riding home on his Harley, just like every Sunday for the last 10+ years, when an unexpected event occurred. He was in an accident and we are very thankful he is alive and doing so well! He sustained many injuries including 3 spinal fractures, a broken ankle and heel on the right, but the most life changing, a badly injured left foot leading to a below the knee amputation.

He has pushed his way through 5 days in ICU and 4 days on a Telemetry unit in the hospital and is officially in an Acute Rehab Center for physical therapy to continue working on gaining his strength and mobility back.

Any money that we raise will go towards all medical bills that are not covered by insurance, continued Physical therapy at home, any modifications to the home to ensure accessibility and safety, and most importantly a prosthetic which generally are not covered by insurance at all. This will be taking place over the course of a year as his recovery will be an ongoing process.
