George & Lucie Tarr - JKS World Cup 2024 in Tokyo, Japan
Donation protected
Hello, we are siblings George (17) and Lucie (13) Tarr and we have the absolute honour to BOTH be selected to represent JKS England at the upcoming JKS International World Cup at the home of Karate in Tokyo, Japan in July 2024.
Both our Karate journeys started back in early 2018 and we both train hard to keep on improving at our club in Somerset regularly around all our school/college and other commitments.
Karate is a self funding sport and competitions both nationally and internationally can be very expensive to compete in at any level. We have been extremely lucky to have represented and medalled for our country, association and club at regional, national and elite level tournaments for the last 3-4 years but this will be our first major overseas competition.
Help and support of any amount will be amazing as flights and accommodation alone in Japan are very high. Due to our ages and lack of earning potential we would dearly like some help from all our supporters and friends to part fund our JKS World Cup dream of getting on the podium in Tokyo!
