George mead memorial stables
Little George mead with his pony Sparkle. George caught a slight cold and sadly passed away
suddenly of pneumonia. He was only 21 months
old. To keep his memory alive and his love of
animals his mum Lauren and Dad Ben put all their savings into a large plot of land and have built a
small farm where children can meet all sorts of
animals and ride pony’s. They hold birthday party’s for children and do weekly activities for all ages.
The farm is called “George mead memorial stables”
in welling Kent
I had the pleasure yesterday meeting Ben and
Lauren And saw what an fantastic job done so far
It’s an amazing place they have created for
children of all ages.
Ben is trying to make the paths more child friendly as it’s clay soil and very muddy.
Lauren told me they had got so far and then run
out of money To finish them. Also the barn
they hold children’s party’s in needs a little more
dressing.
I have never asked any of my friends in
the past for help but if you could all spare as little
as a £1 or more to help finish this amazing town
farm for children to enjoy in George’s memory.
Thank you in advance Michelle
