Hi, my name is Heather Moffett and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. January of 2022 my family received the devastating news that my father, George Moffett Jr was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. Up until his diagnosis my Dad worked hard as a second generation boilermaker and devoted his life to being an amazing Father and grandfather to my daughter Skylynn. After finding out that he would be receiving strong rounds of chemotherapy and would need around the clock care I made the hard choice to take a leave of absence at work to care for him full time. This has been an extreme financial burden on our family but I'm grateful for that time with my Dad.

Over the past couple of years with the continued efforts of his medical team and my at home daily care we were hopeful that he would be eligible for a surgery to remove his tumor in the near future. However a few days ago my Dad's health took a very severe and unexpected turn. It is with a broken heart that I share the news that Doctors have given him just days left to live. With this tragic news I'm left to cover all the cost of his funeral services and both mine and his bills over the next few months while I get back to my previous schedule at work and get all of his necessary documents in order.

Any money donated will be used to cover the cost of his cremation, funeral services and to secure housing for myself and my daughter.
