George Pace Funeral Expense Fund
George “Buster” Pace passed away September 4, 2020 after a two week battle with COVID-19 at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. He was highly susceptible to this pandemic since he was a cancer survivor, along with suffering from dementia and other health issues.
In his early years, George served in the Army during the Vietnam War. After the military he worked at El Paso Products, General Electric, Moffitt Mazda and even shrimping. In his down time George enjoyed fishing, farming, “fixing” things, watching the Saints play and traveling. He had a huge heart and never did mind helping anyone in any way he could. More than anything he loved his family and the precious time spent with them.
George leaves behind his lovely wife of 53 years Marilyn Yee Pace, daughter Sandra Lux and husband Jeff, son Gary A Pace and girlfriend Andrea McDade. Two granddaughters Ashley and Haley and three great grandchildren Shaun, Gage and Lexie. He was preceded in death by his oldest grandson Austin Pace in 2017.
At this time we would like to help support Marilyn, Sandra, Gary and family with the expenses of George’s funeral. We all know this year has been hard on many with devastating affects of COVID-19. For those looking to offer support to George’s family, we ask that you consider making a donation to this GoFundMe campaign and encourage you to please share with your network of friends and family. Please know that any amount is appreciated tremendously as we work closer to our goal. Every amount donated will be used to cover the high cost of George’s funeral.
Thank you and may God bless you at this time. We pray all will stay safe and healthy during these crazy days.
