George Pakk Fire Fund

On Feb. 24th, our community member, George Pakk, lost everything he owns in a house fire. He literally walked away with only what was on his body at the time. George is a storied individual, fiercely independent, and one of the most interesting men you've ever met, if you've had the opportunity to cross paths with him. 
As this tragedy has hit one of our own, and in turn, all of us, we are hoping to raise funds to help George rebuild his life.  George had no insurance on the property and the money we raise will go to George for everything from clothing, everyday supplies, possible temporary housing, cleaning up the property, assisting with costs to rebuild, current bills that don't stop needing to be paid, and anything else George needs the money for. 
Supporting our community members, as the Mad River Valley has done time and time again, is part of our unique fabric here. It's one of the many things that makes this place so special. We ask that you give what you can and please know that even though George might not be able to personally thank you right now, he does from his heart, and we pass that to you.
