Dears friends, family, and community,

The Vega family writes this request for your support in response to the difficult circumstances we currently are facing. George Vega Jr. had been battling Classic Hodgkin’s Lymphoma since he was 19 years old. He was rediagonsed with Cancer in 2018 and beat the cancer in March of 2023. While, he was cancer-free, he was then diagnosed with Graft Vs Host Disease. He was battling for years and always pushing through.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our passing of George Vega Jr. on December 3rd, 2023. He was 31 years young and was loved by so many. He was surrounded by most of his loved ones at Marian Medical Center where he took his last breath. His wife, Jessica Vega, was always by his side through every hospital visit these past few years of his life. George Jr. was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, and nephew. He touched the lives of everyone he met with his warm heart, comical sense of humor, and infectious smile.

As we all know, funeral expenses can add-up quickly and become burdensome, which is why we have requested your assistance. With your donations and support, we hope to help relieve Jessica (Wife), Xak (Son), and the Vega family to put George Jr. to rest.
