George was viciously attacked by a dog

Tax deductible
We are reaching out to you on behalf of a brave little soul named George, a 4-year-old male tabby cat whose love for the gentle breezes of spring turned into a harrowing tale of survival. George was enjoying a peaceful day in a local yard in Schwenksville when he was suddenly and viciously attacked by a dog. Terrified and severely wounded, he found a refuge under a porch, where he hid, fighting for his life.

Thankfully, a Good Samaritan witnessed the incident and quickly alerted the community via social media. Thankfully, a dedicated trapper from Stray Cat Blues saw the post and notified her trapping team. Without hesitation, their team set to work, successfully rescuing George within just a few hours of setting the trap.

Upon rescue, George was immediately taken for medical evaluation. Initially, he received care and seemed to be stable, but his condition soon worsened dramatically. He was rushed to Quakertown Emergency Veterinary Hospital yesterday, where he is now in guarded condition in the intensive care unit. The vicious attack left him with wounds that developed into a severe infection.

As he fights for his life, George's journey is far from over, and his medical expenses are mounting rapidly. The costs of emergency veterinary care, especially in intensive situations like George's, can be overwhelming. This is where we turn to you, our community of cat lovers and kind-hearted souls, and ask for your help.

We at Stray Cat Blues are committed to saving lives and giving animals like George a second chance, but we cannot do it alone. It's with your generosity we can make that difference. We can show George that he is not alone and that compassion can triumph over tragedy. We thank you for your support in helping to find George and others like him, the ability to find peace after such a traumatic experience.

Any funds received beyond our goal will go towards the standard spay, neuter, testing and more serious illnesses and surgeries encountered by cats and kittens in foster care at Stray Cat Blues.
