George’s Helping Hands

Hi,

I’m Emma a family friend of the Roberts gang. We are fundraising to help take the financial burden away from George, Emilie and their two beautiful babies whilst George beats this.

On the 27th July following a MRI scan from having severe headaches and dizziness,we had devastating news that George had got a brain tumour, the doctors and hospitals have also stated that it is a biggish sized tumour in the front of his head. Following several more scans, tests and meetings.. George is going to have to have brain surgery to remove the most of the tumour and then have treatment to hopefully take away the rest of it. Obviously I will need to take time out of work to look after not only George but our two beautiful children we have, so the next few months are going to be a long hard journey for us, but we can do this❤️

Obviously this has been a massive shock to the family and with a few weeks to get our heads around everything we are doing our best to keep a strong mind for George.

I just also want to say a MASSIVE thankyou to everyone that has supported us this far and been a shoulder to cry on, we will keep fighting together and beat this tumour!

George has now had surgery to safely remove what they could of the brain tumour. MRI results will determine what is left & a treatment plan will be put into place.
