Georgetown Firefighters Deserve Our Thanks

Hi, I'm Lizzie Reynolds. My family lives next door to a family that tragically lost their vacation home.

Early Easter Sunday, lightning struck their home and it quickly caught on fire.

Firefighters from 5 stations with 6 or more trucks battled the blaze and saved all of the other homes in our cul-de-sac and neighborhood.

One was blown out the front door due to the force of the hot fire. Another had his radio melt as he battled the fire in their attic.

They saved all homes but the one struck by lightning, and in the process risked their lives.

They deserve the best treat from our community. We want to deliver the world's best BBQ... Franklin's BBQ to each station. They deserve the best because they are the BEST!!

25 pounds of meat and sides comes to $1,500. This is for Georgetown Fire stations #1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

I'll order, make pies for dessert, and deliver this week. Most likely, we can't get that amount, so I'm ready to donate several hundred dollars myself.
