Georgia Hessel's Thesis Film
Donation protected
My name is Georgia Hessel, and I'm fundraising for my Senior Thesis short film, Everything Will Totally Maybe Be Okay.
Logline:
An eccentric young woman challenges her three male roommates' patience by burying their apartment in thrifted finds.
This short film is an absurd, song and dance filled comedy piece about bargain hunting, the trials and tribulations of living with college roommates, and perhaps a sprinkle of "the meaning of life". Writing this story, I found myself engulfed in exploring the psyche of a collector. What is worth collecting? Why are items meaningful? As they say, one man's trash is a young woman's thrifted find of the year.
As my senior thesis, I want to challenge myself to write, direct, and produce a story filled with all of my future aspirations - comedy, production design, absurdity, and a little musical theater. This project will be a culmination of my education at Grand Valley State University, and I'm ecstatic to take on this project!
All donations are greatly appreciated, and will go towards the production of Everything Will Totally Maybe Be Okay for cast, crew, gear, and production design, and other on-set needs.
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thank you for your time!
