Georgia Riley Pellkofer Memorial Fund

It is with devastating sadness that the Pellkofer family would like to announce the tragic and sudden passing of our beloved Georgia Riley Pellkofer. As a child and a young adult, Georgia lived with the challenge of epilepsy, and a catastrophic seizure took her life much too soon.
Georgia was twenty-five years old; an adored and cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, and cousin. All of those lucky to have known her understood that Georgia was a person who radiated love and kindness. She cared deeply for the people around her and lived her life with a passion for creating happiness and spreading kindness. Georgia was beautiful beyond belief, brave in the face of a challenging chronic condition, stronger than any child or adult should have to be, deeply empathetic with a voice for social justice, had boundless fashion sense and personal style, a loyal and fierce friend, brilliant actress, visual and graphic artist, reader, writer, coder, entrepreneur and dreamer. She was intellectual, innovative, and had ambitious, limitless goals.
Georgia was committed to empowering others and recently founded the first Girls Who Code chapter at the community college level. She was a dedicated computer science major at SRJC. Last summer, she completed an internship with Point Blue Conservation Science, and previously was a production assistant in Hollywood earning SAG eligibility. She was in student leadership at Petaluma High School and participated in performing arts, and the swim and golf teams. Georgia loved volunteering at her beloved K-8 school, Mary Collins Cherry Valley, and helping with the Petaluma Music Festival.
Georgia had a dream and planned to support children and young adults with epilepsy. To help bring her vision to reality, the family is retaining legal counsel to assist in establishing the Georgia Riley Charitable Trust. 100% of the funds donated via this site will be transferred to the charitable trust once formalized. The Pellkofer Family appreciates your help in seeding the trust by making a donation.
Our hearts are shattered to think of navigating a world without her now. Through this memorial fund, we can all pay it forward and shine Georgia's bright light on others.
