Georgie Islip's 200 mile race for Street Sisters

Hi, I am Georgie and I finished the Divide 200 mile race on Friday 15th of September 11th. It took me 71 hours and 49 minutes and I came in 3rd lady and 13th overall.

In order to put my efforts to good use, I am raising money for Street Sisters. This is a Calgary-based charity which helps the vulnerable. Street Sisters provide some of their basic needs like food, water, summer and winter clothing, hygiene kits, undergarments and warm blankets etc. I volunteer with Street Sisters and the work they do is amazing.

To help me get to my goal of $3000 any support with donations would be amazing. It truly kept me going when times got tough during the race. I thought of all those people that needed this support.

Make Me Feel Human Again (Kit) $150

1 backpack, 1 hoodie, 1 pair of socks, 1 pair of underwear, 1 hygiene kit (shampoo/body wash, lotion, toothbrush/paste) 1 lunch (sandwich, water, juice box, fruit, granola bar)

and runners

Summer Heatstroke Prevention Kit $25

Gatorade drink, Water, 1 lunch, Sunscreen, $10 Tim’s or Mcdonald's gift card

Basic Daily Care Kit $25

2 pair of socks, 1 bag lunch, 1 water, 1 hygiene kit (shampoo/body wash, lotion, toothbrush/paste, pads/tampons), 1 pair of underwear
