Georgie’s Brain Tumour
Hello, I’m Georgie Frost and on the 18th of May 2022, I underwent an 8-hour emergency brain surgery to remove a Grade 1 meningioma (benign brain tumour) from the back right side of my head. This obviously came as a complete shock to myself and everyone around me and it was quite a traumatic experience. The surgeons and everyone at the DCN ward were amazing to myself and my family and couldn’t thank them enough!!
This was a very scary experience so I thought that this year I would do some fundraising to turn what was a negative experience into a positive one! So on the 3rd of June 2023, myself and several others are hiking up Ben Lomond!!
I'm raising money in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity and this charity is the leader in its field, funding world-class research, providing support and information and raising awareness of brain tumours both malignant and benign. Please have a look at its website to find out more about the different research projects that it supports - www.thebraintumourcharity.org
I just want to also say a massive thank you in advance for your contribution, it truly means so much to me!
lots of love,
Georgie✌
