My Name Is Maila And This Past Week On August 5, 2024 My Uncle Ger Lee Took His Last Breath. I’m Doing This Go-Fund Me For Him And His Family Because I’m Trying To Help Raise The Money :

For His Funeral Expenses
For His Family’s Bills In The Meantime
For Marvin To Have School Supplies & Be Ready For School This Year

Uncle Ger Was The Youngest Son In His Family (38) And Died Due To A Lot Of Health Problems That Occurred After His First Stroke A Couple Years Ago. His Body Couldn’t Take It Anymore, The Family Was Given A Ultimatum, So We Decided To Pull The Plugs. He Was The Main Pillar Who Provided For His Wife And Son. One Thing I Can Say About Uncle Ger Is That He Always Tries To Understand Everyone And Put Those He Loved First Before Him.

In Life, Nothing Is Ever Fair & I Just Want The Best For Him. Raising The Money To Help Him And His Family Is Important To Me Because I Believe He Deserves A Decent Funeral For Being The Strong Individual That He Was . For Always Doing Whatever He Can, To His Ability To Provide For Them And Put A Roof Over Their Head.

Mainly Also To Help His Son That He Left Behind . He’s Only 13 And Is Just About To Start 8th Grade. After His Father’s Stroke , Their Family Struggled With Getting Help From The County/State. Ger Wasnt Able To Work Due To The Conditions It Left Him In. So While Un-employed He Wasnt Even Able To Get Some Sort Of Life Insurance For His Family.

Despite All The Struggles They Were Facing. The Only Thing On His Mind Was To Get Back On A Daily Routine, So That He Can Provide For His Family Again. He Started Walking Slowly Again And Getting More Strength In His Right Arm. But After His Heart Valve Surgery This Year And Coming Home. His Recovery Wasn’t Going Too Good That It Lead Him Back To The Hospital In June. By The Second Week His Body Wasn’t Taking Anything No More And His Lungs Collapsing (ARDS) On The Third Week. That We Came To Make The Decision We Did Because We Didn’t Want To Continue Seeing Him Suffer.

Donating Will Definitely Help Fund Ger’s Funeral & Support Marvin (His Son) In The Meantime And Give Him A Chance To Grow & Strive In His Life For The Things His Father Didn't Get A Chance To Do.
