Tax deductible
Gerald Bartosh is a GAT Life Member that suffered a major stroke. Funds will go directly to Gerald to help pay all of the Hospital & long term healthcare & rehabilitation bills.

Gerald Bartosch was one of the pioneer private club operators in Houston. He began gymnastics training in 1958 at age twelve, started trampoline jumping with Beau Biron at the Bellaire Recreation Center at age 15, and got his first gymnastics job there in 1963 at age 18. His first formal training in gymnastics was at the University of Texas at Austin, with Jamille "Jay" Ashmore as his coach. He was the Texas College Tumbling Champion in 1967. He was a coach at a YMCA in the Houston area after college graduation while working on a commercial art post graduate degree.

In the middle 1980s, Gerald returned to gymnastics as the physical education supervisor for the Houston Jewish Community Center where his skill as an organizer and leader are called into play every day.

He is a gentleman, a scholar, an artist, a club pioneer, a leader, and a great storyteller. Just get him started on "Finch, Biron, Archer and I…!" He became a Life Member of GAT in 1991.
