Dear Friends, Family and Strangers:

 

We are writing this request letter with the hope of receiving your support. Gerardo Covarrubias, our dearest friend, a husband, a father, and reputable co-worker is suffering from Gastric Cancer.

 

He is a humble man, so he wouldn’t ask for the help, but does need financial assistance at this time and as soon as possible. The recommended care is not covered by his health insurance and therefore we are humbly requesting your financial support to enable him to receive the treatment.

 

Gerardo is a very hard-working , caring and compassionate human being. He has been not only been our friend for several years, but has been an employee for Repcon for over 8 years with the machining division.

 

The treatment is projected to be aggressive and could pose a debilitating affect to monthly contribution to his household. 

 

His estimated recovery time is currently not very predictable. Medical professionals estimate this could take at least 24 months. All of his treatments will be at DHR, co-pays, cost, housing and other costs are accumulating and without your help, this can be the most overwhelming task.

 

Gerardo is also the sole provider for his family; therefore cost aside from medical bills will require coverage assistance as well. Support here will assist him and his wife in maintaining their current household. Rent, groceries, gas, vehicle insurance, and cellphone are just a few of the utilities he manages.

 

Our family’s assistance goal is $40,000. This help covers some of these costs and alleviate of the financial stresses.

 

 

He has been able to live happily on a very small budget but is now forced to face the financial burden and crisis that come with cancer, anything will help and you so greatly appreciated
