Hello, we are trying to raise some funds for Gerardo Villalpando’s Autopsy. He was in a car collision and battled hard for almost two years the doctors promised us that he would get better and would walk again. He was put into a medically induced coma as they performed a series of surgeries. And surely enough he woke up, throughout the year he was transferred from hospitals to rehabilitation centers. As he was recovering and getting better at the last rehabilitation center that’s where things took a turn for the worse, he was found on the floor by his nurse and was sent to the hospital where he had succumbed to his injuries and was declared brain dead. While he was recovering he was only able to move his left arm and toes, my dad didn’t have enough strength to move himself. Yet my dad was found unresponsive on the floor and once they found him they had to do cpr until the hospital. They are stating that his Cause of Death were Complications of remote blunt trauma due to the car accident that was almost two years ago. After the car accident we visited him almost every month we seen all the progress he was making. He was able to communicate and recall memories he would have gotten better in time. We want to file for negligence towards the rehabilitation center he last stayed at and find out through the autopsy what really happened. Because we refuse to believe that he succumbed to his injuries that were from a car accident that was almost two years ago. Since then he passed on August 3rd and his wishes were to donate his organs to those who need them. So on August 9th he was able to donate 5 of his organs. All the funds will be used to help pay for his autopsy and his family’s financial difficulties since his passing.
