Gerhild Krapf, through her attorney Gary Dickey, filed a lawsuit against Bruce Rastetter, Mary Andringa, Katie Mulholland, Milt Dakovich, Larry McKibben and the Iowa Board of Regents on May 31, 2016, in Polk County District Court. All the individual defendants are Members of the Iowa Board of Regents.
The lawsuit alleges that Bruce Rastetter and the other four Regents illegally met with Bruce Harreld, who was a candidate for President of the University of Iowa, in Ames on July 30, 2015.
Gerhild has filed this lawsuit as a concerned Iowa citizen and is seeking the truth to many unanswered questions and legal remedies related to the illegal Iowa Board of Regent's meeting with Bruce Harreld.
We are seeking donations from supporters to Gerhild's legal fund. The donations will be be used for legal filing fees and discovery related expenses, including depositions of the defendants, directly related to this lawsuit. Gerhild will release donated funds to the Dickey & Campbell Law Firm at her discretion and the amounts will be publicly disclosed on a regular basis via this website and Twitter. At the conclusion of this matter, any excess funds will be donated to the Iowa Freedom of Information Council (IFOIC).*
Any questions about this fund or the lawsuit should be directed to Gerhild's attorney, Mr. Gary Dickey, via the contact details here .
Thank you very much for your support.
