Hi everyone,

 

As most of you know by now, my dear friend Michael lost his battle with leukemia on September 21, 2021.

 

Those that knew Michael know how huge of a loss this is for his family and friends. Michael was the epitome of a family man and truly loved by everyone. He had the biggest personality, sarcastic sense of humor and an even bigger heart. He loved life and was especially passionate about his family- his wife of 18 years, Karla and his two children Isabella (17) and Giovanni (16). They had just began a new life in San Diego for only six short months before Michael was diagnosed on August 17, 2021. His diagnosis led them back to Boston, where he spent over a month fighting fiercely for his life.

 

As you can imagine, the sudden loss of Michael has left his family devastated. On top of that, Michael was the sole provider for their family. I am starting this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial stress as they grieve and begin to navigate life without their husband and father.

 

Michael was taken from us far too soon and his family has been through so much. This fund will help with support of his wife and two children. Thank you to everyone that's reached out and sent condolences. I ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers as they go through their darkest days.
