Get a car after a hit-n-run for a 17-yr old

Hi, I'm Jaret Davison, a 17-year-old kid who is trying to juggle school, life, and two jobs. Yesterday my car was sideswiped in a hit-and-run accident and I am starting this Gofundme so that maybe you can help lighten the load that my family and I are carrying.

On July 24th, after what felt like an eternity of a shift, from 8am to 11pm, I returned to my car, only to find it severely damaged. I couldn't believe my eyes. My vehicle – my lifeline – now had a huge dent on the front driver door. Because of this dent, I couldn't even close the door properly anymore. But the bad news didn't stop there. The front passenger tire rod was snapped, and the rear driver's was bent, making my car essentially totalled.

Dealing with this car situation is a luxury and a huge burden, on me especially. My car is more than just a vehicle. It's my ticket to school, to work, to a future beyond the boundaries of my hometown. I travel over 45 minutes each way, almost every single day to get to school and my jobs, owing to circumstances I little control over.

Losing my car is not just an inconvenience; it's a massive burden that threatens to crumble the delicate balance that my family and I have been maintaining. I heavily depend on this car – it's my lifeline, my bridge to opportunities, my everyday hero.
