I am starting this go fund account for Alex Gonsalves to purchase an Afflo Vest. As most of you know he has been battling ALS for over a decade. He has been completely immobilized for many years. Due to his lack of movement he has been in and out of the hospital every few months with pneumonia. This vest will vibrate his chest to help loosen and thin the mucus in his lungs. His insurance will not cover the cost of this vest even though an ICU doctor wrote a prescription for it. He has a machine that helps him cough but it isn’t enough to break up the mucus.

This vest cost about $10,000-$12,000. Please rally together and help us get his vest to keep him home with his family and not cooped up in a hospital.
