After the death of her daughter Maya, Alison was told by US immigration that she was being forced to leave her three children and was being kicked out of her home in America.
After being forced to leave her children's side Alison returned to Costa Rica where she attempted to re-enter the US, she was denied entry, broken hearted but still filled with a desire to return to her grieving children Alison returned to her birth country of England to start her immigration process as she was advised by a top immigration lawyer, during this year she spent her remaining saving and inheritance from her late parents.
After a very long, frustrating and lonely year away from her family Alison was granted a 6 month visa to enter the US. She now has the opportunity to file for her green card but the deadline is February 6th.
She will need to raise $23,215 in total and a minimum of $4,265 by February 6th to begin her process and stop the deportation from occurring, the breakdown is $2,000 for lawyer fees $1,765 for filing fees and $300 for a medical exam.
While she is here she is not legally permitted to work until her work visa is accepted which will take about 6 months and we will be raising funds to support her living expenses and get her transportation until then.
She has been generously offered an opportunity to live at a friend's house in Forest Nulls California for minimal rent and utilities while she goes through the legal process.
The full legal and immigration process will cost approximately $8,265
A vehicle with registration and insurance for 6 months will cost approximately $5,850
And her living expenses while she works on obtaining a work visa will be approximately $9,300
The cost break down for living expenses for 6 months is Rent and utilities $700, Phone $300, Food $3,600, Gas $1,200
We are grateful and appreciative for your support to keep Alison united with her children during this time of deep grief and healing.
