Get Amanda Back to Work- Uber Car Rental Help

Hi, it's Amanda here. Recently, I lost my car that I use to do my work due to financial reasons. I am a Gig Worker, specifically an Uber, UberEats and DoorDash driver. This is how I survive in this world. I also suffer from mental health issues. These issues have come on very strong, especially in the last 7 years. I was very debilitated for a while. I fought my way back home from a 4-year stay in California, where I found nothing but stress and anxiety. That was unexpected. I also discovered the startups called Uber and Lyft there in the Bay Area.
I did finanally make it back home, and I settled here in the Baltimore area with friends. I started doing Lyft in May of 2019 after trying and failing to do retail again because of severe anxiety issues. I found Lyft to be very freeing, and I didn't have a boss breathing down my neck. I could also work when I felt calm and could turn the app off if I needed a break or it got too much for me. That is the key. I felt in control, so it calmed me. I also love to drive. I love airports and transportation hubs.
All was well until November of 2019 when I had a car accident while not working. I was on my way to visit a friend. I made it within 50 yards of the entrance to her apartment building. It was a hard hit. My precious car that I loved and had an awesome finance deal on, was totalled. I had no car.
I used the Lyft Rental Program through Hertz to, get back to work. The weekly rate was taken out of my earnings. I was probably still in shock over the accident. It was a traumatic experience. I should have taken more time off to recover mentally. I ended up thinking that it was a better idea to go buy another car. Because of my terrible credit, I ended up with a predatory loan. 2 months later, the pandemic struck.
This Spring, I fell way behind on all of my bills. I spiraled downward with my mental health in a vicious cycle. In May, someone hit my parked car. I got a rental through my insurance but I could only do delivery, no rides. Doing grocery orders, I hurt my back very badly and was laid up for a week or so. I had limited physical mobility until July. I had just got my newly repaired car back at the end of June, but it was too late. I was too far behind and the bank took my car back. Even though I knew it was a possibility, I kept fighting and calling, but on July 15th, I had no car...again.
I have hit total financial bottom and my credit is shredded. Once again, I find myself with an option though. The Rental Program though Uber! You have to pay for your weekly rental UPFRONT with a $200 deposit. So, with the car that I need for doing airport and Uber Comfort rides, the fee is $275 per week.(not including taxes) That puts the weekly rental at $475 initially and then $275 per week after that, which is fairly good. That's about $40 per day. Plus, it includes insurance and any maintenance. I figure it will be a bit more with taxes and I added some to get me a few tanks of gas to come up with the $600.
All I can do is ask. Any amount would be appreciated, and more would be a Godsend. I humbly ask if I can recieve some generosity so I can get back to work. I know it will do wonders for my mental health and lift my spirits greatly. All I ask is for an opportunity to do my job. It will really, really help me. This will get me back on track. I will do it right this time. :)
