Amy’s German immunotherapy fundraise
Donation protected
Hello all, as I come to the end of my options with NHS standard treatment of care, I’m turning to my network to partially fund immunotherapy in Germany. I have raised nearly £100k for the Brain Tumour Charity so I hope that I can lean into my network to at least partially raise funds for my treatment outside the NHS. Rest assured 100% of the funds that I raise will go towards the immunotherapy.
WHAT? Immunotherapy in Germany. CeGaT to be precise in Tubingen. They offer a peptide vaccine which has shown great results in extending life.
WHY? I have incurable stage 4 brain cancer, glioblastoma multiforme (GBMIV) with a prognosis of 12-18 months. I have survived so far 13 months and I’m determined to defy the odds and be a long term survivor which 5% of sufferers are. I want to beat the odds to spend as long as I can with my young son. I originally had the cancer in both my right and left frontal lobes, unfortunately it has spread to my left parietal lobe. I have received NHS standard treatment of care with neurosurgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. However the journey is far from over and I’ve committed to German immunotherapy.
WHEN? I will start my treatment at the end of the summer and it will last 1 year including monthly trips to Stuttgart (which I intend to self fund through air miles and on occasion driving).

Thank you so much in advance for any donations it really means the world to me and my young son.
