Get At-Home Caregiver Val Dellea back on her feet
Donation protected
Bernard "Bernie" Dellea recently passed away after a long battle with early onset dementia/Alzheimer's disease. His wife, Valerie, cared for him from home, 24/7. Due to the vigilant attention that that care required, she was unable to work, even in a remote job. While of course that time was well spent, as it meant the last part of Bernie's life could take place at home with his wife, it does mean that Valerie is left to start over in a sense and is struggling to do so.
Funeral expenses, all the incurred health care charges, and ongoing living expenses - along with the red tape that often delays any bureaucratic help in such situations - have added up... and as Valerie's family, we're doing what we can to help raise money to help her through this difficult time.
If you know Valerie or knew Bernie, we're sure you know the sincerity of this request and know that your donation would be going to a good person.
If you don't know them, we do understand that it's challenging to donate money today when so many people are struggling; so please know that Valerie and our entire family are incredibly grateful for any help you can provide. You would be doing a very good deed, and as believers in good karma, we thank you sincerely.
