Hi,
I am autistic, have severe anxiety, and have cerebral palsy. I have wanted a service dog for a long time but training has been prohibitively expensive for me to cover on my own.
I am creating this gofundme in the hopes of offsetting the cost of that training while also making sure I can afford to give my service dog the best care possible.
Having a service dog will assist me with handling my anxiety both out in public and at home. It will also offer some minor physical assistance that will put less strain on my disabled body.
I am currently searching for the perfect puppy to train. This has been difficult due to the Pandemic Puppy phenomenon. I do have a few leads that could see me obtaining a puppy by this summer.
The dog itself will cost between $3200-$4500. Most of the money I am raising will be put toward professional training.
