Arian Carpio is a distinguished women's freestyle wrestler from Federal Way, WA. She boasts a remarkable journey that began at the age of 6 with an impressive high school record of 2 state championships (139-2 overall) and 2 folkstyle national championships. Arian made Federal Way history by becoming the first female to win the middle school district championship against males and then the first female to win the High School Girls State Championship.
Her wrestling prowess extends globally, having secured multiple USA National Championships and represented Team USA at prestigious international events, including Pan Am and World Championships. Arian, temporarily setting aside her architectural studies at an Ivy League Institution, is fervently dedicated to becoming the first Filipino athlete to qualify for women's freestyle wrestling in the Olympics.
However, the path to this historic achievement faces financial hurdles. Arian, a single mom residing and training in Hoboken, NJ/New York City, is striving to raise $10,000 for her nationality transfer fees to both USA Wrestling and United World Wrestling by December 30th. This transfer will not only propel her athletic career but also provide life changing support for her and her daughter, as Filipino athletes receive funding from the government post-transfer.
Your donation can make a meaningful impact on Arian's journey, helping cover the transfer fees and bringing her closer to making Olympic history.
Arian, proudly sponsored by Adidas, New York Athletic Club, Disalvo Sports Performance, and the New York Regional Training Center, invites additional companies and businesses to join her Olympic journey. Your donation can play a vital role in covering Arian's transfer fees and supporting her pursuit of Olympic glory.
