Help Operation Stitches Get Their Richmond HQ Back
Help Operation Stitches get their Richmond Headquarters back
Operation Stitches is a non-profit charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and families living in Melbourne's inner-city public housing estates.
The charity provides free educational and recreational activities as well as food donations, community events and more with the aim of discouraging drugs, violence, crime, alcohol, suicide, gangs and racism.
In 2016, Operation Stitches was forced to close its Richmond headquarters due to a lack of funding. However, its founders, Patrick and Chris, refused to give up on the families of the inner-city public housing estates. The charity relocated to Collingwood and has re-established some of its programs there.
Our goal is to help Operation Stitches raise enough money to reopen their Richmond base and once again offer their programs to the Richmond and Fitzory public housing estates as well as Collingwood.
About Patrick and Chris
Patrick and Chris Templeton began Operation Stitches with a passion to make a difference among the disadvantaged families living in Melbourne’s inner-city public housing.
Over the past 25 years, their work has earned the trust and respect of the public housing sector and positively impacted the lives of countless people living in Melbourne’s public housing estates.
They have done this almost single handedly with very little support or accolades. Now it’s time for Melbourne to get behind and help make their dream a reality!
