Get Becca Ride to Life Preserving Treatments

Donation protected
I suffer from multiple debilitating medical conditions that have left me wheelchair-bound and unable to walk, stand, or even bear any weight whatsoever.  I have to be Hoyer lifted to get from my hospital bed to my reclining and tilting power wheelchair and vice versa.

My main diagnoses are Small Fiber Autonomic Polyneuropathy, Early Onset Multiple System Atrophy, Gastroparesis, Total Digestive Tract Failure, Neurogenic Bladder, Interstitial Cystitis, Cushing Brain Tumor, and Atelectasis.  They have left me unable to eat and dependent on IV nutrition, IV hydration, and IV medication through a central line . I also have a G tube, a J tube, a suprapubic catheter, and am oxygen dependent.

My conditions are very severe and my prognosis is not very good, however, I do have a team of really good doctors that are doing everything they can for me.  The only issue is whether I can actually get to the doctor's appointments and their recommended treatments, infusions, procedures, and surgeries.

Because I need to be reclined in my wheelchair at al times, the local chair van companies and buses refuse to transport me and the ambulance companies claim they're too understaffed.   last year I ended up solving this issue by raising money and buying a wheelchair van.

I used the wheelchair van to get to my weekly IVIG treatments.   IVIG is the only treatment for Small Fiber Autonomic Polyneuropathy and when I miss even just one week I start passing out,  having seizures, dropping my blood pressure, and spiking my heart rate to dangerous levels.  I also use the wheelchair van to get to my monthly catheter changes, my GJ tube changes, my treatments at the cancer and infusion center, and my frequent doctors appointments.  These appointments that I use my wheelchair van to get to are literally what's keeping me alive.

I had that wheelchair van for eight months and it kept breaking down.  After putting thousands of dollars of work into my wheelchair van, the lift broke completely and no one can figure out how to fix it so I need to come up with the money to buy a new wheelchair van as quickly as possible, my life depends on it.

I'm hoping you can donate some money toward getting me a new wheelchair van.  I know times are tough, but even if everyone just donates $5 after awhile it would add up to quite a bit of money,.  With just a little bit of a donation you would be playing a part in saving a young woman's life.  Of course if you can afford to donate more, I won't argue that either!
