Get better Rick! Beat that nemesis cancer!

Our brother Rick Hernandez, discovered by chance while at the doctor for something that was seemingly unrelated that he has cancer. He's one of the most positive, uplifting people in our Public Safety family.  He lives life one laugh at a time. At this time my hope is that we can come together and help support our brother in this scary obstacle of life. He's brave and always thinking positively.  He's getting a procedure called the Whipple Procedure. The Whipple Procedure (pancreatoduodenectomy) encompasses several surgical procedures in the same operation: the gallbladder is removed the head of the pancreas is removed a section of the bile duct is removed a section of the small intestine is removed a part of the stomach may also be removed After this is completed, the surgeon must reconstruct what remains: Please support.
