Get Bill Out of One Very Deep Financial Hole

So, as some of you may know, last Summer, my mother underwent radiation treatments for her cancer. To do so, I had to take the summer off and not work at my School Bus Yard (as the YMCA Camp I had worked previous summers as a driver stopped transportation after COVID). It was an hour trip, one way, and the treatments averaged 45 minutes or more, so there was no way for me to carry a steady job for the summer. I applied for Unemployment, and after making me wait 5 weeks with no money, The NJ Department of Labor told me I was not qualified because I could have worked the summer at my Bus Yard. I then applied for Family Leave and got certification from my Mother's Doctor, and the NJ Department of Labor, in its infinite wisdom, told me I did not qualify because I was a School Bus Driver and could take the summer off. By the time I had gotten the response to Family Leave, the summer was nearly over. So, I went all last summer with no money coming in. My bills mounted up, and my credit cards maxed out, but I persevered. September rolled around and I went back to work. Since then, I've been trying to dig myself out of the hole I was in. But it just got worse instead of better. My credit cards got canceled, and I fell behind on my bills because of a lack of funds and family emergencies of which several of you are quite aware. And now, I find myself at rock bottom, with little chance of getting out on my own. So, I am turning to my friends and family to try and help me get out of this hole and back on my feet.

An additional update. NJ DOL approved my Unemployment claim to cover the weeks I wasn't working this summer, but has since changed that decision and now wants the unemployment they paid me paid back to them, so the hole continues to get deeper.
