Black Diamond Historical Museum Needs New Furnace

The beloved Black Diamond Historical Museum needs our help! After 35 years of preserving the Museum’s most precious artifacts, the furnaces are history and finding a replacement furnace is crucial for the Museum’s future. The Museum plans to buy a much more energy efficient furnace to help breathe new life into the confides of the historic building. 

To ignite the fundraising campaign for a new furnace, Oakpointe Communities is kicking off the campaign with a $5,000 pledge. It will match all donations for the new furnace up to $5,000.00.  

Due to the economy, grants the Museum had been counting on are no longer available and it is turning to the community for this funding. Please consider joining us in helping preserve the Museum’s timeless history. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
