Get Brandon a Kidney

My name is Brandon Priester and I have been struggling with type 2 diabetes along with high blood pressure for quite some time. My health has come to a point where I am in need of kidney. It has been a tough road to say the least. I was able to gain control of my illness during high school. After high school, I attended Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC where I earned my degree in Psychology. I continued my education by obtaining a master's in guidance education from South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC. Upon completion of my graduate degree, I was fortunate enough to secure a position with DSS in Charleston, South Carolina. I later pursued a position as a Middle School Counselor.
I was healthy, working out, and running 5 miles a day. I woke up one morning and I could not see. I was rushed to the hospital and learned that I also have a disease called Nephrotic Syndrome. It's when your body holds on to fluid. I was 156 lbs due to my lifestyle and went to 230 lbs within days due to the fluid. I was huge and was unable to fit into my clothing. After my release from the hospital, my weight went down to 135lbs. My situation continues to get worst, as there are times when I am unable to urinate, due to my kidney failing. I was in and out of the hospital, seeing so many doctors, all telling me different things. I prayed for one of them to please give me an answer regarding my health. The answer came which was either to go on dialysis or die. I have been on dialysis for a year. I'm desperately praying that God allows someone to please come forward to help me with a kidney. If you are interested, please reach out to us. I have been approved by my doctors for a kidney transplant, ALL by the grace of God and keeping the faith. This is just a small piece of my story battling this illness. Gotta Keep Faith!!!
