Help Esther Get to the Hyrox World Championships ️♀️
Meet Esther—a powerhouse of grit, determination, and heart.
She’s a full-time single mum, a student, a part-time worker, and a full-time athlete. And in June 2025, she’ll be representing Australia at the Hyrox World Championships in Chicago—a dream that seemed impossible not long ago.
But let’s rewind...
Esther’s athletic journey began with half and full marathons, followed by CrossFit competitions. In 2023, she swore she’d never do Hyrox. “Not my sport,” she said. Gym and running? Sure. But mixing them? No way.
Fast forward to August 2024, the Brisbane Hyrox hype was real. The race was sold out, but a friend convinced her to give it a go. Two weeks out from race day, they found a last-minute ticket. Esther jumped straight into training—running, learning Hyrox rules, and figuring it out as she went.
She competed in her first Hyrox Mixed Doubles race and finished top 10 in her age group.
That race changed everything.
One month later, she hired a running coach. A month after that, a strength & conditioning coach. She signed up for races in Melbourne, Auckland, and Brisbane. She was all in.
December 2024 – Melbourne (First Pro Solo)
Esther competed in her first Pro Solo race. Despite facing a weakness in one of the stations, she placed 8th in her age group and 25th overall—narrowly missing a Worlds qualification.
February 2025 – Auckland (Second Pro Solo)
An even tougher race, but she walked away with a PB and a 6th place finish in her age group. Still, just shy of qualifying.
March 2025 – Brisbane (Double Race Weekend)
Esther raced both Mixed Doubles and Pro Solo in one weekend—her third Pro Solo ever. She finished with a massive 3-minute personal best, and just two weeks later…
She officially qualified for the Hyrox World Championships.
Now, Esther is preparing to fly to Chicago in June 2025 to compete against the world’s best—but she needs our help to get there.
As a single mum juggling study, work, and training without sponsorship or financial support, the cost of flights, accommodation, race entry, and gear is a massive hurdle.
Let’s rally around her.
If you’ve ever watched someone chase the impossible and actually catch it, that’s Esther. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping her represent Australia on the world stage and continue to inspire others to do the same.
Let’s get her to Chicago. Let’s show her what community really means.
