Corey Walker, spent 23 years behind bars. He was convicted of killing a Harrisburg man in 1996. In July, a judge overturned the conviction and he was finally released an innocent man! Now there is more evidence of the innocence of Lorenzo Johnson and Corey Walker, and stunning proof of grievous misconduct by police and prosecutors. Vital new information in the case is being brought to light through the state post-conviction relief appeals (PCRA) process. 

“I left so many people behind in prison that always speak to being innocent, but no one is there to support them. There are so many individuals going through the same thing I went through and I feel there’s a need for that voice,” Walker said. “Without us, they’re nobody.” Corey Walker continues to fight for justice for himself and others ensnared in the Jim Crow system.
