Get CSULA to FSAE 2023

Hi, we are Cal State LA’s Formula SAE team! Due to the pandemic, our team was unable to raise funds and make the necessary improvements to the car for the 2022 competition, which resulted in our car being unable to compete in time. Despite the setbacks thrusted onto us by the pandemic, we had a blast traveling to competition and learning all we could for this upcoming year. With all the experiences and memories we made this year, we are more ready than ever to attend the 2023 competition and are fundraising to help us get there. It’s a long way to Michigan, so all funds will be used for transportation, lodging, and competition fees. Help us in our journey to first place this year! We are a 14-year-old team comprised of students, alumni, staff, and faculty with a shared passion for Automotive Engineering. Our team helps our members grow as engineers by providing hands on experience with manufacturing, management, and team building. We design and produce an open-wheel formula style vehicle in-house and compete with schools from around the world every year. The competition consists of static and dynamic events testing design, fabrication, and assembly. The team then presents their design to experts in the field and competes in several different races against ~100 other universities.
