Daniel Bramble’s Journey to Tokyo Olympics
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
Thanks for checking out my Go Fund Me page.
I’ve set up this page to help bring my Olympic dream to reality!
As you may or may not know I am a British long jumper with a PB of 8.21m, which is top 5 on the UK all time list.
A short story about my journey so far:
After missing out on the Rio Olympics by 1cm and then getting injured a month before the British Champs.. ( I know right?!) Which made me lose confidence and lose touch with the sport. Summer 2017 I made a nervous but strong come back, jumping 8 metres and above on 4 separate occasions, only to be taken off Lottery funding at the end of the year after showing what I thought was a promising come back. 2018 I jumped the forth furthest distance ever, finally started to fall in love with the sport again, but unfortunately lost my kit deal at the end of the season. As of last year I decided to relocated to loughborough to train with a new coach for the first time in 9 years, a big step out of my comfort zone but a big potential reward.
2019 was a huge learning curve for me but moving into this year I want to use that and focus all energy on this summers Olympic Games.
What will you be helping fund?:
• Rent, probably my biggest expense moving from my parents house.
• Warm Weather Training (April)
•Medical costs: physio and soft tissue
•Training fee
• Training facility membership
• Food/nutrition (the healthy kind)
• petrol (car maintenance)
• New Kit
• General cost of living
thanks for checking out the page
and and huge thank you in advance for the donations!
