Get Elle through this brain tumour

As you know by now Elle, our favourite Smith Street hair wiz and all round legend, is having a Shit Health Time.

We’ve put together this GoFundMe because so many people have asked how they can help and realistically, this is it.

Elle has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour. The good news is it’s benign, the bad news is because of where it’s located Elle has to undergo radiation treatment. The mental and physical toll is, and will keep being, full on. After endless appointments the last month, Elle’s treatment starts in a couple of weeks. After that, there'll be a big rest and recovery period.

Unfortunately, this means that Elle has had to shut her beloved shop Hair, Yeah? for a while. Elle is a sole trader, and single handedly runs this business. The shop shutting means there’s zero income but still lots of expenses. And after treatment, it’ll need to be a gentle return to being all our favourite hairdresser and Hair, Yeah?’s big role in the Smith St community.

Elle works her butt off. She’s also always the one who shows up for all of us, individually and her community, and now it’s our chance to show up for our babe.

Every $20 chipped in helps with rent and bills on the shop, medical costs, vet bills for Nora, cost of living, Netflix for reality telly healing, etc. We’ve done the maths and $20k is what Elle needs to cover these next few months and ease the financial stress while she’s in recovery.
