Please help get Everleigh home to her family
Donation protected
For the past year I have endured a terrible custody battle. At three months pregnant her father physically abused me, he was arrested, and the paramedics were called. A protective order was issued. I packed what I could, took my children and left. The kids and I lost everything but each other. I worked in a salon full-time as a single, pregnant mother until the week that Everleigh was born. Her father provided nothing for her and wanted nothing to do with her for her first few months of life. She was to visit him for just his birthday when he and his girlfriend decided to take off with her, not returning her. His family hired an attorney to fight me for custody. We had a written agreement for her return which is to be addressed at trial. I have missed Everleighs first Christmas and her first birthday among other holidays due to her father. I have fought to see her and have communication with her. I tried every way possible but was not included in her life and milestones. Until addressed by the judge, Everleigh was made to believe that his girlfriend was her mother and not I. They have since had their own baby. I used every penny I had saved for a retainer to hire an attorney and then the pandemic happened. Because of the pandemic I have had to wait until we could get a court hearing to inform the judge of everything that was happening. Her father refuses to let me have Everleigh back home with her siblings and I. He has even refused to share custody. My husband and I were relocated to Hawaii with the military and he has since deployed. We have been working as much as possible to come up with trial and travel funds. All of which while homeschooling and caring for my other children during this pandemic with my husband away. My lawyer believes strongly in our case and My family and I are asking for any help at all. We need our sweet baby E back home, a huge part of our hearts is missing. If you are unable to donate, prayers and kind words are also greatly appreciated and loved.
