Hello, my name is Belal Khalifs and I am raising funds for Farah's family, my friend ,who is currently in Gaza. Farah is a medical student and her family is in desperate need of help to escape the ongoing genocide in their country. I will be receiving the funds here in Germany and transfer them directly to Farah to cover their traveling fees to Egypt (as the gentle Egyptian Government takes 5k per person) , their only hope for safety. Here’s Farah’s family story ;

Hello world ! my name is Farah , I’m reaching out to you from Gaza, where my family of five and I are facing unprecedented challenges in the war of Gaza. Every one of us has his own story of resilience, perseverance, and hope in the face of adversity. We are determined to rebuild our lives and create a brighter future for ourselves, but we need your help to make it possible.

The recent war in Gaza has stripped away everything we held dear - our livelihoods, our sanctuary, our stability. Our once-happy home now lies in ruins, leaving us without a safe and stable place to live . The loss of jobs among my family members has only added to the turmoil . We've been displaced time and again, amidst a landscape of chaos and confusion.

Despite the hardships we face, we are still fighting for our dreams and stories ;

my father who is the biggest supporter of my family. He used to work in sewing clothes and exporting them abroad,However, because of the war he lost his job and it was completely destroyed.

My brother Tamer, who studied journalism and media, he was working with my father to build and establish his life and have a future family but soon his dreams were demolished and he lost his job too.

My sister, Dina, studied medical analysis and had a lot of ambition and dreams to build her own laboratory to help all patients, but she was forced to change her field of work due to lack of job opportunities ,so she studied graphic design and began working in it. She faced all the difficulties and saw it as her only hope for building her future and helping her family, but she also lost her job.

Me, the youngest one . I’m ambitious with dreams of pursuing higher education and making a difference in the world. However, the war let me lost an academic medical year which I’m supposed to be in my 3rd year of medicine,so the financial strain of the war has threatened to extinguish my dreams before they have a chance to take flight.

Our ultimate goal is to create a better life for ourselves outside of Gaza, where we can live without fear and pursue our dreams without limitations.

So We are reaching out to you, for support in our time of need.

Your generosity can help us to flee from this genocide , and help us to create a future filled with promise and possibility in a place of safety and stability .

Our only glimmer of safety rests in seeking refuge across the Egyptian border, yet the demanded sum by Egyptian authorities

is beyond our means. Each of us requires $5000 for a passage deemed safe, an astronomical figure considering we've been stripped of all possessions.

Your generous contributions will directly facilitate our journey to safety, support my education, and sustain our basic needs during this dire juncture.

Here's how the funds will be allocated:

• $25,000: Evacuation fees for passage through the Egypt-Rafah crossing border.

We are 5 people and you have to pay 5.000USD at the Egypt - Gaza borders to be able to enter.

• $10,000: Covering rent and living expenses for my family in Egypt, ensuring continuity of my medical education as well as website commission

That‘s about 3000 USD for the first 10 month of renting an appartement in Cairo that is big enough for us. The remaining 7.000 are for education wich will be around 3.000 USD for me to continue my medical studies at a university to be able to work ASAP. The 2.000 USD should be enough for food for almost 10 month as you pay around 40 USD per person for food in Egypt. The rest will be taken from GoFundMe as fees. Almost 33k in the end is what we need.
