Get Gavin to CA for Papa Jake Larson turning 100

Hi! My name is Gavin. I am 11 years old. I have been a military enthusiast, especially WWII since I was 3 years old. One of the top things on my bucket list was “meet” a WWII veteran. Last year I was able to cross that off, well half way. I didn’t meet him in person but was able to talk to one of the last known WWII survivors that stormed Normandy Beach, Mr. Papa Jake Larson. Mr. Larson was 99years old at the time. I recorded the whole conversation I had with him. It was such an awesome experience. Ever since then the number one thing on my bucket list was to meet Papa Jake in person, but he lives in CA.

So this is where I need help - This year on Dec 20th Papa Jake turns 100. I have talked to my parents and I would really love to go to his birthday celebration and meet him in person. I am trying to raise money to fund my trip to CA. I will be making blankets to sale, having a yard sale, drawing pictures to sale and accepting donations. Please help me get to CA and make my dream come true.
