Get into my home

Hello, my name is Jessica. I'm doing a fundraiser to get myself and my furbabies into our new home.

I've been through a lot in the past couple of years. I got out a very abusive relationship, dealt with some health issues, job changes and a lot of personal losses.

December 1, 2023 I lost a very dear friend and landlord unexpectedly. I was also my friend's unpaid caregiver for the last year. My friend was in the process of changing her will, but it did not get finalized before she passed. Her passing away literally affected every aspect of my life.

While dealing with this loss, her family moved in and told me I have to move out. I am not in a spot financially to just move. I have to be moved out February 7, 2024.

I have been approved for an apartment but do not have enough for the deposit. Even working, I will not be able to save up the deposit, first month's rent and moving expenses in time. I am trying to raise the deposit amount.

I am an in home caregiver. My hours can fluctuate. I also still have other bills to pay and daily living expenses because of my current living situation.

I have a difficult time asking for help. I do not take creating this fundraiser lightly but know I need the help.
