Get Jeremy to the Iditarod Starting Line!
Donation protected
Jeremy Keller needs your help to get to the starting line of the 2020 Iditarod sled dog race.
Many of you followed along on his 2019 journey and know that he is one of the most energetic, kind, positive and charismatic people you will ever meet in person or via the internet. Jeremy supports his family of 4 (wife Allie and homeschooled sons Bjorn and Liam) and kennel of 15-20 sled dogs solely on his income as a carpenter, all the while training and conditioning his beloved dogs and caring for the family homesteads in Knik and McCarthy, Alaska. This year the Keller Family and their kennel, All Roads Lead to Dog, will be unable to pay for the race entry fee and associated costs, which total at least $10,000, without help from our broader community.
We have 7 promising yearling pups, plus the team of 8 dogs that finished last year’s race, from which to choose 13-14 starters for this year’s race. Going to Nome this year would be an amazing step in the young dogs’ training, with the goal of making an attempt at a top-ten finish in a year or two when they are fully developed but while our “old” team is still going strong. Not to mention that we know you all want to follow along with another exciting run across the great state of Alaska!
We have set a goal of raising $4,000 by the entry deadline of Black Friday. If we can meet that goal we are confident that between a little good luck, continued good-will and some already promised donations we will get Jeremy and the team to the starting line on March 7th.
Bjorn (age 14) will once again be running the Junior Iditarod the week prior and has already received sponsorship (thank you Lee!!).
As a thank-you for your donation of over $100, we will send a personally signed by Jeremy All Roads Lead to Dog t-shirt. Anyone who donates over $200 will receive a personally signed hoodie! If you are interested in donating more than $500 and becoming a key member of the All Roads Lead to Dog family, please get in touch directly to discuss sponsorship options.
Thank you so much in advance for your generosity!
